If you are sourcing disposable gloves for distribution, food service, cleaning or general examination use in Southeast Asia, you are probably comparing suppliers on the lowest unit price MOQ and quotation for vinyl gloves in Southeast Asia. That is a reasonable starting point, but the number that matters is not a headline price per piece. It is the landed cost per usable glove, at the specification and packing you can actually sell or use.
This guide explains what drives vinyl and PVC glove quotations, how to compare offers fairly, and what to confirm before you commit. It does not publish a numeric price, because a responsible quotation depends on your exact requirements.
Why a "lowest unit price" is not a single number
Two suppliers can both quote "vinyl gloves" and still be selling different products. Unit price moves with:
- Material and formulation (vinyl/PVC compound, clarity, flexibility)
- Piece weight in grams
- Size mix (S, M, L, XL and how they are packed)
- Box configuration and carton configuration
- Artwork, printing and branding
- Order quantity
- Destination port and delivery address
- Freight terms (Incoterm) and who arranges transport
A lighter glove usually costs less per piece but may not suit your task. A heavier glove costs more per piece but can reduce breakage and complaints. The right question is: what specification meets your use case at the best total cost?
Piece weight, net weight and carton gross weight: know the difference
Buyers often confuse three different weights, and that confusion leads to disputes.
- Piece weight: the weight of one glove in grams. This is the main specification driver.
- Net weight: the total weight of the gloves themselves in a carton, excluding packaging.
- Carton gross weight: the weight of the full carton including gloves, boxes and the outer carton.
For example, a model-specific reference specification for disposable vinyl (PVC) 4.0 g, size M is:
- 100 pcs/box, 10 boxes/carton (1,000 pcs)
- Carton dimensions: 36.5 x 23.5 x 23.5 cm
- Carton volume: 0.0202 m³
- Gross weight: approximately 4.5 kg
This is an indicative, model-specific reference value, not a universal specification. Always confirm the exact SKU, current packing list, carton measurements, gross weight and container loading before quotation or shipment.
Container loading: plan your logistics around the carton
Carton size and gross weight determine how many cartons fit in a container. Using the same model-specific reference above, approximate loading is:
- 20GP: approximately 1,650–1,800 cartons
- 40GP: approximately 3,350–3,650 cartons
- 40HQ: approximately 3,800–4,150 cartons
These figures are approximate and subject to actual loading. If your carton is larger, heavier or differently shaped, the count changes. If you are shipping to Southeast Asia, also factor in port handling, inland transport and any destination-market documentation requirements.
What to confirm before you request a quotation
To get a quotation you can compare against others, prepare the following:
- Exact SKU or specification: material, piece weight, size, texture and cuff type
- Order quantity: total pieces and how it breaks down by size
- Packaging: pieces per box, boxes per carton, artwork requirements
- Destination: port or address, and your preferred Incoterm
- Documentation: what your market requires for import and sale
If you are unsure about material or cuff choices, compare options against your actual task rather than assuming one type fits all. Our medical PVC gloves and disposable gloves pages show the program range.
MOQ and trial orders
Junda's disposable gloves MOQ is 1,000 pcs. Trial orders are welcome, which lets you check fit, feel and packing before scaling up. For buyers comparing suppliers, a small trial is often the fastest way to validate a specification.
If you also source latex protective gloves, note that Junda own-brand latex protective gloves are in stock from 10 cartons (2,000 pairs). OEM latex protective gloves in natural colour start at 300 cartons (60,000 pairs), and other colours at 100,000 pairs.
