Buyers sourcing for Japan often search for the lowest unit price MOQ and quotation for disposable gloves in Japan and expect a single number back. In practice, no responsible manufacturer can quote a real unit price without knowing the material, piece weight, size mix, packaging, order quantity, destination port and freight terms. This article explains how to structure a request so the quotation you receive is comparable, and which indicative packing and loading figures you can use for early logistics planning.

Why there is no single "lowest unit price" for Japan

Japan is a specification-driven market. Two buyers ordering "nitrile gloves, size M, 100 pcs/box" may still need different piece weights, different box board grades, different carton configurations, Japanese-language artwork, and different documentary sets for customs. Each of those changes cost per piece.

Junda's approved product context covers nitrile, latex and PVC programs matched by target market, weight, color, packaging and private-label requirements. Exact claims and documents depend on the product and the destination market. That is why we do not publish a numeric lowest unit price: it would be misleading without a current approved quotation tied to your exact SKU.

The quotation variables that actually move your unit price

When you request a quotation, expect the supplier to ask for these inputs. Each one has a real cost effect:

  • Material — nitrile, latex or PVC. Resin and film costs differ and move independently.
  • Piece weight — a 3.5 g nitrile glove and a 4.0 g nitrile glove are different products with different material consumption per piece.
  • Size mix — S/M/L/XL ratios affect packing efficiency and, in some cases, mould scheduling.
  • Box and carton configuration — pieces per box, boxes per carton, board grade, printing.
  • Artwork and private label — plate or digital setup, language requirements, barcode and label content.
  • Order quantity — setup costs are spread over the run; small runs carry a higher per-piece share.
  • Destination and freight terms — port, Incoterm, and whether you or the supplier arrange main carriage.
  • Documentation — the document set required for your destination market.

Send these in one message and you will get a quotation you can compare line by line instead of a headline number that hides differences.

MOQ: what Junda actually offers

For disposable gloves, Junda's MOQ is 1,000 pcs, and trial orders are welcome. This is deliberately low so buyers can evaluate a sample batch before scaling. For latex protective gloves, the MOQ is 10,000 pairs under Junda brand or OEM.

Note that MOQ is not the same as the most economical order quantity. Freight per piece falls sharply as you move from LCL to a full container, so the "lowest unit price" in landed terms often sits at a container quantity rather than at MOQ. Ask for pricing at MOQ, at a part-container quantity, and at a full-container quantity so you can see the curve.

Indicative carton and loading data for early planning

The figures below are model-specific reference values supplied for planning, not universal specifications. They assume size M, 100 pcs/box, 10 boxes/carton (1,000 pcs), and are approximate and subject to actual loading. Carton gross weight = glove weight × 1,000 pcs + 0.5 kg packaging.

Piece weight, net weight and gross weight are three different numbers

This distinction causes more quotation disputes than almost anything else:

  • Piece weight is the weight of one glove in grams — a specification of the product itself.
  • Net weight is the glove content of a carton: piece weight × pieces per carton.
  • Gross weight is what the freight forwarder and customs see: net weight plus packaging.

A 3.5 g nitrile carton and a 4.0 g nitrile carton can look similar on a packing list but differ in material cost, gross weight and container payload. Always quote against piece weight, and always confirm gross weight before booking freight.

Match the material to the task, not to the price list

Price per piece is only meaningful against the task. Compare options against what the wearer actually does:

  • Nitrile — good general choice where resistance to oils and many chemicals matters; available in lower gram weights for tactile work and higher gram weights for durability.
  • Latex — known for elasticity and fit; suitable where that comfort and stretch are the priority and where latex exposure is acceptable for the user.
  • PVC (vinyl) — often chosen for short-duration, low-risk tasks where cost control dominates.

Texture (smooth, fingertips-textured, fully textured), thickness and cuff length (beaded, rolled, extended) all change both performance and price. Tell the supplier the task, the duration of wear and any chemical contact, and let them propose the specification — do not assume one material is universally suitable.

Samples, lead time and documents

  • Samples are free. Your own international courier collects them from our Guangzhou factory and you pay the courier directly. Please contact us by email or WhatsApp before booking.
  • Lead time is 15–30 days; the exact date is confirmed with the order.
  • Certificates — masked previews are on the Quality page, and full documents are available on request. Logos or certification marks visible in artwork are not proof of current certification; confirm the exact document set required for your product and destination market before quotation or shipment.

A request template that gets a usable quotation

Copy this into your enquiry:

  1. Material and intended use
  2. Piece weight (g) or the performance requirement you need met
  3. Size mix (S/M/L/XL percentages)
  4. Pieces per box, boxes per carton
  5. Private label: yes/no, artwork language, barcode requirements
  6. Order quantity — MOQ, part container, and full container scenarios
  7. Destination port and Incoterm
  8. Required documents for your market
  9. Target shipment date

With those nine points, a supplier can return a quotation that is genuinely comparable. For product detail, see our disposable nitrile gloves and disposable latex gloves pages. For MOQ, sample and ordering questions, see buying.

Confirm before you commit

All reference specifications above are indicative and model-specific. Before quotation or shipment, confirm the exact SKU, current packing list, carton measurements, gross weight, container loading and destination-market documents. Payment arrangements follow the quotation and contract. Contact us by email or WhatsApp with your nine-point brief and we will confirm what applies to your order.
