If you are sourcing for a distributor, clinic group, cleaning contractor or light-industrial buyer, the search for the lowest unit price MOQ and quotation for PVC gloves in Africa usually comes down to one practical question: what will a confirmed order actually cost per piece, delivered on your terms? This article explains how to compare offers fairly, which variables move the unit price, and what to confirm before you ask for a quotation.

Why there is no single "lowest" unit price

A PVC glove is not one fixed product. Unit price depends on material, piece weight, size mix, box and carton configuration, artwork, order quantity, destination and freight terms. A lighter glove packed in a smaller carton can show a lower price per piece than a heavier glove in a larger carton, even from the same factory. That is why a responsible supplier will not publish a universal "lowest price" — it has to be quoted against your exact requirement.

Junda's disposable PVC program covers general examination, cleaning and light-duty handling. Clarity, size, weight and packaging can be matched to the project. Target-market documentation must be confirmed for each destination.

The MOQ that applies to your trial

For disposable gloves, Junda's MOQ is 1,000 pcs, and trial orders are welcome. This lets African buyers test a specification, packing format and freight route before scaling up. If your requirement includes latex protective gloves, the MOQ is 10,000 pairs (Junda brand or OEM).

MOQ is one of the biggest levers on unit price. Small trial quantities carry relatively higher per-piece handling and packing costs; larger confirmed orders spread those costs across more pieces. Ask for pricing at your trial quantity and at a scaled quantity so you can see the difference.

Reference packing and weight — label these as indicative

The following values come from a user-supplied reference sheet for one model. They are model-specific and indicative, not universal specifications. Confirm the exact SKU, current packing list, carton measurements, gross weight, container loading and destination-market documents before quotation or shipment.

  • Model reference: Disposable vinyl (PVC) 4.0 g, size M
  • Packing: 100 pcs/box, 10 boxes/carton (1,000 pcs)
  • Carton size: 36.5 × 23.5 × 23.5 cm; 0.0202 m³
  • Gross weight: approx. 4.5 kg per carton
  • Container loading (approx., subject to actual loading): 20GP approx. 1,650–1,800 cartons; 40GP approx. 3,350–3,650 cartons; 40HQ approx. 3,800–4,150 cartons

Piece weight, net weight and carton gross weight are different numbers

Buyers often compare offers using the wrong weight. Keep these separate:

  • Piece weight is the weight of a single glove (for example, 4.0 g in the reference model). It affects material cost per piece.
  • Net weight is the total weight of the gloves in a carton, excluding boxes and the carton itself.
  • Carton gross weight includes the gloves, inner boxes, poly bags and the outer carton. The approx. 4.5 kg figure above is a gross weight for that model.

Two suppliers quoting "the same" glove at different piece weights are not quoting the same product. Always ask for piece weight and carton gross weight in writing.

What to send when you request a quotation

To get a comparable quotation for PVC gloves in Africa, send:

  1. Exact SKU or specification — material, piece weight, size(s), clarity/texture, cuff style.
  2. Quantity — trial quantity and expected repeat volume.
  3. Packaging — pieces per box, boxes per carton, artwork or private-label needs.
  4. Destination — country and port or delivery point.
  5. Incoterm — so freight and responsibility are clear.
  6. Documentation needs — state which certificates or market documents you require so they can be confirmed.

Certificates: masked previews are shown on the Quality page, and full documents are available on request. Logos or certification marks visible in promotional artwork are not proof of current certification — always verify the actual documents for your SKU and destination market.

Samples before you commit

Samples are free. The buyer's own international courier collects them from our Guangzhou factory, and the buyer pays the courier directly. Please contact us by email or WhatsApp before booking the courier so collection can be arranged.

Lead time and payment

Lead time is 15–30 days; the exact date is confirmed with the order. Payment terms follow the quotation and contract.

Compare offers on total landed cost, not headline price

The lowest quoted unit price is not always the lowest landed cost. Factor in carton volume (0.0202 m³ per carton in the reference model affects how many cartons fit a container), gross weight, destination freight, documentation and any repacking. A slightly higher piece price with better container utilisation can win on cost per delivered glove.
