If you are sourcing for a distributor, safety supplier, medical reseller or private-label program in North America, the search for the lowest unit price MOQ and quotation for disposable gloves in United States usually comes down to one practical question: what exactly is being quoted, and at what order quantity? A low headline number is only useful if the material, piece weight, size mix, packaging, artwork, destination and freight terms are all defined. This article explains how to compare offers on a like-for-like basis and what to confirm before you ask for a quotation.

Why the lowest unit price is not a single number

Disposable gloves are quoted per piece, per box or per carton, and the unit price moves with the specification. Two offers that look similar on a landing page can differ in:

  • Material program — nitrile, latex or PVC, each matched to your target market and use case.
  • Piece weight — a 3.5 g nitrile glove and a 4.0 g nitrile glove are different products with different material input.
  • Size mix — S, M, L and XL ratios affect packing and carton configuration.
  • Box and carton configuration — pieces per box, boxes per carton, poly or dispenser packaging.
  • Artwork and private label — print colors, plate or digital setup, and brand requirements.
  • Order quantity — total pieces and how they load into containers.
  • Destination and freight terms — port, inland delivery, and the Incoterm you agree.

Because of this, Junda does not publish a numeric lowest unit price. Unit price depends on the variables above, and the reliable figure is the one in a current approved quotation for your exact specification. The fastest path is to send your requirement and ask for a quotation.

Indicative carton and loading data (model-specific)

The values below are user-supplied reference-sheet values for specific models, not universal specifications. They are useful for early freight and warehouse planning, but you must confirm the exact SKU, current packing list, carton measurements, gross weight, container loading and destination-market documents before quotation or shipment.

All reference models assume size M, 100 pcs/box, 10 boxes/carton (1,000 pcs). Carton gross weight = glove weight × 1,000 pcs + 0.5 kg packaging.

Piece weight, net weight and carton gross weight are different things

This distinction matters when you compare quotations:

  • Piece weight is the weight of one glove, for example 4.0 g. It is a specification input, not a shipping weight.
  • Net weight is the glove content in a carton — piece weight × pieces per carton, excluding packaging.
  • Carton gross weight includes gloves, boxes, poly bags and the carton itself. The reference formula above adds 0.5 kg for packaging per 1,000-piece carton.

A supplier quoting a lighter piece weight at a similar price is not necessarily offering the same product. Confirm piece weight and packing before comparing unit prices.

How to compare quotations like a procurement professional

Ask every supplier to quote against the same brief. A useful comparison sheet includes:

  1. Material and grade — nitrile, latex or PVC, and the intended market.
  2. Piece weight — stated in grams, with tolerance.
  3. Size mix — the S/M/L/XL ratio you actually sell.
  4. Packing — pieces per box, boxes per carton, carton dimensions and gross weight.
  5. Private label — artwork files, print method and any setup cost.
  6. Quantity — total pieces and number of cartons.
  7. Destination and Incoterm — so freight is quoted on the same basis.
  8. Documents — which certificates and test reports you require for the destination market.

When these are aligned, the unit price comparison becomes meaningful. Until then, you are comparing different products.

Matching the material program to the task

Junda offers nitrile, latex and PVC programs matched by target market, weight, color, packaging and private-label requirements. The right choice depends on the buyer's actual task, not on a universal ranking:

  • Nitrile is often specified where a powder-free synthetic option is preferred; weight and texture vary by SKU.
  • Latex offers a familiar fit and elasticity; piece weight options such as 5.0 g and 6.3 g change packing and loading.
  • PVC (vinyl) is a lower-density option in some programs; confirm the exact specification for your use case.

Texture (smooth or textured), thickness and cuff length should be compared against the task the glove will perform. Exact claims and documents depend on the product and destination market, so confirm them before you commit.

What to send with your quotation request

To receive a quotation you can act on, include:

  • Product and material (nitrile, latex or PVC)
  • Piece weight target
  • Size mix
  • Packaging: pieces per box, boxes per carton
  • Private label: yes/no, and artwork status
  • Order quantity (trial or full container)
  • Destination city and port
  • Incoterm
  • Required documents for the destination market

Send this by email or WhatsApp. We will confirm the exact SKU, packing list, carton data and document requirements before issuing the quotation.

A note on certificates and artwork

Certification marks or logos visible in promotional artwork are not proof of current certification. Junda provides masked certificate previews on the Quality page, and full documents are available on request. Always confirm that the specific certificate applies to the exact SKU and destination market before you rely on it.
